Meet the Artists

    Jeff Hersey

    Jeff is a painter and sculptor, drawing inspiration from natural forms and colors.

    Jeff’s sculpture techniques include kiln firing, folding, hammering, and assemblage. He enjoys creating wall sculptures, free-standing mixed-media sculptures, and hammered pewter torsos. He paints in impressionistic, realistic, and abstract styles.

    He resides in Upper Arlington and has been the owner and curator for Terra Gallery & Creative Studio for over 15 years.

    Lisa Miller

    Lisa is the daughter of two creatives - her father with his gardening and cooking, while her mother enjoyed crafting, sewing, and mini house building.

    Recently, she has rekindled a love for paper making and has become engrossed in paper pulping and sculpting. She creates pieces varying from casting vessels and frames and often combines 2D and 3D creations in her artwork.

    Lisa loves the nature of her paper creations and is endeared by the many precious life lessons and discoveries of the fibers, vessels, and frames.

    Diana Lynd

    Along with being a talented watercolor artist, Diana is our custom framing queen!

    Diana is a friendly face always ready to help with your custom framing needs. If you’ve ever stopped by or called the gallery, you’ve probably been greated by Diana.

  • Livia Sponsler

    Livia Sponsler is an interdisciplinary artist working in Columbus, OH. She graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a minor in illustration.

    Her practice is centered around large-scale fiber artworks and paintings, channeling her interests in astronomical phenomena and interpreting them on a human scale.

  • Megan Strong

    Megan is a Columbus-based artist. She is currently in the Interpreter Education Program at CSCC and plans to become an ASL Interpreter.

    Megan loves painting keepsake and heirloom pieces including portraits, landscapes, pets, and weddings. It’s an honor to get to know someone’s story and create a unique, personal piece.

    Deepika Puri

    Deepika is a visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts, known for transforming everyday spaces into vibrant works of art. She specializes in large-scale murals that breathe life into residential and commercial spaces.

    Deepika also creates hand-painted coasters; each a mini canvas that brings art into small, meaningful moments of daily life. Her expressive acrylic paintings are inspired by nature, culture, and personal reflection.

    Whether it’s a mural, a set of coasters, or a canvas, her art is made to connect and inspire.

  • Jill C. Springer

    Jill C. Springer is an artist located in central Ohio, born and raised in Marysville, Ohio.

    Jill received her bachelor's in Behavioral Science and Art Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN, and her masters in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College in Cleveland, OH.

    Jill’s creations frequently contain themes of dreamwork, nature and her personal synesthesia experience.

    Isabel Palmer

    Isabel Palmer is a contemporary abstract painter and illustrator whose work provokes thoughts and emotions with vibrant colors and dynamic movement.

    Born and raised in Perrysburg, Ohio, Isabel is pursuing a BFA in Illustration from the Columbus College of Art and Design.

    Taking a bold yet delicate approach, Isabel channels raw emotion and personal experience into each canvas, creating richly textured pieces that invite viewers to interact with her work.
